"Loyal Lesley's Daughters"
Lesley's first president, President Trentwell Mason White, dedicated the school song, "Loyal Lesley Daughters," to the class of 1948. The song differed from other school songs because both the music and lyrics were written by President White and do not credit any other sources for inspiration. It was not based on a hymn or a patriotic melody. Instead, it was a song that was written to reflect President White's vision of the school. It shaped the way that the school would market itself to its alumna, who were often referred to as "Loyal Lesley Daughters."
