Transcription

"It was almost like a rooming house type of thing. That was the social part. Most of the classes were in the homes next door, dorms upstairs and classes on the street floor. Dr. White had just been made President. The classes were so "non-professional," you'd sit around in a room, it seemed the instructors weren't highly prepared themselves. When I think about it today they we're all older and had never been teachers. But it was sort of a communication lacking professional input. It was Lesley School for Women more than a professional school at that time. There was no real professional quality about them."
