AP: "And why was Miss Sharples so difficult?"
JRR: "Because it was her way, and....I was on the court...the student court, and she asked me a couple times what was going on, and she said, "Well Jane if you don't tell me, the dean will tell me...she was very dictatorial."
29:35

"Ms. Sharples, certainly with me anyhow, would give an opinion and then want me to do it, and that was somewhat difficult for me sometimes. Now I will say Dean Thurber...when I worked with her with the student government and the honor court, which was all made up of students, there was no faculty when something came about in front of the honor court, she would listen to all sides and she would wait until you made an opinion and made a suggestion before she would say anything, where her friend, Ms. Sharples, would dictate what she wanted to be done." 32:02
